My dear mother and grandmother (aka Grandma Great) came to visit us for 9 days. My grandma is 84 and doesn't travel very far these days, so I was thrilled that she would come all this way to see us. I am so proud of her and impressed with her motivation and drive at her age. We enjoyed them so much! My girls were in heaven with all the attention.4 generations of beautiful wahines after church
Grandma Great and Eve doing their exercises together
We got a baby sitter and went out to a nice dinner at the Hyatt one night. The grounds are so gorgeous!(yes, I have pink hair. And my grandma thinks it's cool.)
A moment of meditation at Glass Beach.
My sweet mom helped me start a couple quilting projects that have been waiting in the wings for a while. I have this huge space in our new house for my sewing and violin teaching. I love it!
We started a "Turning Twenty" quilt and I just got the top all put together today. I LOVE the fabrics. This is a really easy quilt and so much fun.

This looks like so much fun. Wish I could have joined them. Mom said they had a great time. I love the one of G-ma & Evie exercising - priceless!
Veda's b-day looked perfect. Way to go on the cupcakes & decorating (wow, Trav!). That's one pimped out bounce house. :)
I'm still crossing my fingers for December...will call you today - miss you, sis.
Love the pink hair- good for you! i would love to do something brave like that (i think i'd go purple or turquoise...)
Your grandma is so cute. I love the pic with all 4 generations. You will find that picture priceless someday. Sounds like Hawaii is treating you well. Love ya!

Kitty! I was blown away! She sounds awesome!! I can't believe she has gotten that good. Is she still with Barbara Malone? How do I access your blog?b
I love that quilt!! I wanna make another one with you. Can you make one king size or is it only a specific size...I want that for my bed spread. Oh my goodness, I just realized I forgot to even get out my chick quilt for Easter...oops! I miss you tons!
We went to Sylvan park the other day and Sydney asked when Veda was moving back to Redlands so she could come to the park with her. Sydney also waved down the ice cream guy to get a "tweety bird" ice cream pop and reminiced about eating those at your garage sale. Mason is great! Just started smiling.
It is beautiful. I can't wait to see it all done.
It looks like you guys had a great time. I love how your quilt turned out. The fabrics are so cute. Also, great new blog look ;)
