This picture doesn't even do this monster justice. You can get a clue to the size of this thing if you compare it to the medical text book next to it. It was bigger than the palm of my hand.
Just picture it:
me with a shoe,
Monique with a hammer,
Veda with a broom.
ALL with the shivers.

*shiver* - One of my fave parts of Montana, almost no bugs, spiders included. *double shiver*
that officially GROSSED me out. You should have taken a picture of all of you with your weapons. I wouldn't even have attempted fetching a weapon...I would have just run around squealing.
PS - you need to post a pic. of Monique!
Ewww...we have sugar cane fields and I had NO idea those huge monsters lived in them. Just add it to the list of creepy crawly stuff I can't stand!! My weapon of choice is always a big tupperware to cover them up until Ryan can come home and kill them!
How lovely! Spiders creep me out too. I have to remind myself and my kids that they do have a purpose on this earth, otherwise we would be infested with insects. Love ya!

Gross... I would freak out. Maybe I'm not so jealous of you living in Hawaii. Nah, I still am.
I'm glad you three "Bears in the Night" survived that vicious beast!
Would love to have been there to see you all (Really!) Who screamed loudest?
I'll bet the scorpion we found in the garage was bigger!
