It's been 10 long months since we have left the islands. Tomorrow the girls and I will make our long-awaited sojourn back "home" to visit family and friends. Las Vegas will always feel like home to me. We will spend a week there and then on to California where Travis will join up with us and the whole bunch of us will spend a week on Mission Beach. We certainly don't need to go to California to find beautiful beaches...but it is a family tradition and being all together is a rare and treasured affair anymore.
Say a little prayer for me as I'm making the long flight alone with the girls. Usually they do very well. (knock on wood) Also, good luck to Travis as he goes to Chicago to take his oral boards!

Can't wait to see you!! Yahoo!
Safe travels! Hope you get your fill of mainland treats and excursions.
Hi Kaycee!
I can't believe I found you! You and I were classmates at the LV Academy not so many years ago. You were the accomplished senior sitting directly in front of me in orchestra and I sat next to Kenny Park one stand back. Is it coming back? Anna Banana?
I googled you the other day and found out you got married, then googled your married name and arrived at your very fun and thorough blog site. I hope you don't mind, but I've been reading your posts since I found the site and I'm so delighted with your lovely life and beautiful family.
I'd love to pick your brain about living in Hawaii if you have time, and just to catch up in general. My boyfriend, Jeromy, and I are considering a move to the Hawaiian Islands in the foreseeable future (we live in Sedona, Arizona, now). He's never been but he'd fit right in, I think, and I haven't been back since our orchestra trip that year of high school. I have so many great memories of Hawaii and I've only just scratched the surface in visiting Honolulu. You can write me at bananamacd@yahoo.com if you get a chance. I'd love to catch up!
Kaycee, you have such a warm and beautiful heart. You were like a big sister and mentor to me during our year of high school together, and I'm so happy to know you and yours are doing so well. It was such a joy to see your face beaming out from your blog pages.
Your Friend Always,
Anna Banana
AKA Anna MacDonagh
you are going to be in CA?!?!??!?!?!?
Welcome Home!!! Wish there was some way we could hook up. I hate that we don't live within driving distance anymore.
I hope you have a great vacation! Can't wait to see the blog all about it. :)
I loved having you here. Can't wait to see you in a couple of months. Come back soon. Lylas (the bigger sis).
