I made a quick trip home to Las Vegas to see my sweet Dad who is recovering from open-heart surgery. Being so far away and not able to see him or help in any way finally got the best of me so I booked a flight for the next day. It was SO good to see him, and the rest of my family. My mom is doing an amazing job nursing him back to health, but I could tell she needed an extra set of hands.
I did get to sneak in a little fun though. Carey and I ventured to our old side of town to one of our favorite stops - the Wig Factory Outlet. This is next door to the The Violin Outlet which we used to frequent in our youth. Ah, the memories... the creepy mannequin heads and weird smelling wigs...

Wow. You guys look more alike than I thought you did. Maybe its the shorter hair. You are both so beautiful. I am glad you fit some fun it. How is your dad doing?
That breaks my heart to see your dad laying on the couch!! :( I hope he can take it easy and let himself recover. Glad you were able to be there to help your family.
niiiice. I did get some serious height though. The Wig Outlet will do that to a girl.
