To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.
WILLIAM HENRY CHANNING.

oh no! I thought Veda loved school?
Oh my gosh....I seriously don't know whether to laugh or cry, KC!!! Give them loves from me.... :(
PS - the offer still stands strong re. V's teacher. I swear, just say the word and I'm on a flight with my boxing gloves.
Those faces are familiar. I see them every morning on my kids' faces. Funny stuff! Love ya!

Ohhh Veda... that makes me want to cry. Poor kiddo!
That is hilarious! I don't know why she's cryin, but i love that you snapped a pic of it. Hope that they start 'loving school' soon :)
That is capital T TRAGIC!!! Aunt Tanya is sending you love and hugs Veda. I had a rotten first grade teacher and it all turned out okay. I still learned to love school. I got her back by stealing some of Little Miss and Mister books - honestly, I was a klepto!! :) I think I still have them. Hang in there everybody!!
So sad. My poor little V, she is always so happy, it breaks my heart to see her so sad. I hated school at first too but it eventually gets better. Love you Veda
That's gotta be hard on you too.
