Today was the first annual Kauai Marathon. The girls and I were sideline cheerleaders and spectators. Travis ran today and did AWESOME. He was the first Kauai resident to cross the finish line and 18th overall - out of 1600 runners! 44 states and 6 countries were respresented. It was very exciting for our little island.
As I was watching the runners, I was inspired and motivated to join in next year. I'd like run the half marathon this time next year. Who wants to join me?

I'd love to but i'm not sure my body can do it anymore. You go girl. If you can do it- you will be my hero!
Um....ME! I can't believe it's been almost two years since my half. Start slowly training now (you'll be glad you did). Tell Travis we are so proud of him - - way to go!!!
Go KC! I want to do it with you. Tanya and I started a running program about 2 months ago and I can bearly do 3 miles now without dying. My goal is a 10K, I don't know if I will ever make it to a half, but let's motivate each other. I'm so proud of Travis for doing so good. That is an accomplishment

i'm still working on getting up to a 10k. did a 5k a few weeks ago, but don't think i could have gone much further. what's this about San Diego next month?
