Veda's request was for a pirate themed birthday party, and deliver we did! Here are the invitations.

What is any pirate without a parrot? This was an honored guest - Bonzai. She was a very social sweet bird who flew from shoulder to shoulder, even taking samples off our plates. She was the hit of the party.

I can't believe my little chicken (I) is SEVEN! :( Looks like she had such a great time. That party rocks. I thought Cal's pirate party was awesome, but yours by far trumped his. wish we could have been there. Love you, V!

i must know, where on earth did you locate a bird that will just hop around and sit on people's shoulders?
That has to be the funnest birthday party ever....and the cutest pirate ever. Who but Veda would think of that? Love that she is so original. You guys go all out. Dad said it sounded like the social event of the year. Looks like it too. Did it make the local paper? Love you tons!
