Saturday morning, the day after Veda's first day of kindergarten, we were having violin class. As I'm teaching the class Veda says "Mom look!" I looked at her with blood dripping down her chin and she held up her tooth to show me. The whole class broke into cheers and applause for her. It's not very often that you get an audience when you lose your first tooth! Later that day, I made her this cute little tooth fairy pillow to put her tooth in. The tooth fairy left in it's place a gold dollar coin and a pack of sugarless gum!

Yay, VEDA!!! So cool! She is getting so grown up. Give that chicken big kisses and loves from me (and tell her I love those guts).
PS - you are getting more & more crafty with age. I don't think I could make that if it was my last dying day. So cute. ;)
How cool and what a cute pillow you made for her!
The Tooth fairy leaves us gold dollars too...but I love the idea of sugar free gum!
Cute Pillow that you just made later that afternoon. You are one talented woman. I just think your girls are so adorable. I love checking out your blog and seeing how well your family is. Tell Travis hello. Monica
How exciting and sad all at the same time! I can't believe the pillow you just whipped up - so good! I guess I better add that to the list of things I need to buy because mine would look like crap! So talented!
Oh, those first teeth. I got so emotional when Elisabeth lost hers. So, so cute.
